Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is Microblading ?
Microblading is a relatively new, manual method. It is considered to be semi-permanent, as compared to the traditional hair stroke technique. It is done using a very fine blade to deposit pigments into the epidermis. Because we’re impacting color closer to the surface, the strokes appear crisp and very fine.

This method is ideal for anyone wanting to enhance the look of their eyebrows. The results are natural looking, hair-like strokes, regardless of the amount of hair present. People suffering from alopecia or any other condition that causes hair loss benefit greatly from Microblading, as well as people who simply aren't happy with their eyebrows.

The pigments used in this method have been formulated to match your original eyebrow color, and if the eyebrows are still present, blend perfectly into them. The results are a natural, flawless, fuller looking brow. Initially, the brows appear darker, but fade significantly over a two week period. It is absolutely crucial to have a touch up done, as it is very difficult to predict how well the skin will retain the pigment.
What is Microblading + Shading ?
Microblading shading is a similar but separate technique when compared to microblading.

Microblading is the art of placing strokes into the eyebrow area in an attempt to make the brows look more "real".

Microblading shading is a complementary procedure that is often done in combination with microblading, but it results in a completely different look.

Microblading shading is a "stipling" technique where the microblade is pushed directly down against the skin (as opposed to pulling or dragging the microblade across your skin).

The result is a beautiful stipling of the eyebrow which creates a powder-filled result.

Eyebrows that have been shaded often look like you have your make-up on 24/7.
What is the Ombre Eyebrow Tattoo ?
Instead of creating hair strokes eyebrow like Microblading, this shading and blending technique will create an ombre effect from the beginning of the brow to the end starting from light and fading to dark, give your brow the sharp yet natural look.
How long do they last ?
The results can last anywhere from 1 to 3 years, depending on different factors affecting the procedure. However, a touch up once a year is recommended to retain the shape and saturation of pigment.
Does it hurt ?
We get mix reviews on pain. Everyone has a different level of sensitivity so topical anesthetics are applied before and during the treatment to alleviate any sensation or discomfort. Some clients naturally feel one brow sorer than the other. You will hear a scratch noise/ sensation throughout.
Is it safe ?
Absolutely. Sterilized, disposable needles and supplies are used during the process.
Will I be swollen ?
You won't be swollen, you just might have slightly red skin around eyebrows.
Will I need a touch up ?
Most likely. Within a week of your first treatment the color will fade significantly and over the next four to six weeks can continue to fade as much as 50%. This is considered an extremely positive occurrence as it allows you time to reflect on your shape and color. After this period your requested retouch appointment is carried out. At this point any changes you would like to make are discussed.
How often do I need a touch up ?
In order to keep your eyebrow tattoo results looking fresh, we recommend a touch up every year.
How long does it last ?
It will last as long as it’s maintained. Good skin type can last up to 3 years.
Why do I need a touch up if this is semi-permanent ?
Because color is implanted in the facial area there tends to be more fluid circulation than other parts of the body. Your face sees the most wear of any piece of you—exposure to the sun, food, facial products—the list goes on and on. All of these things cause permanent color to fade, this is why you need a touch up.
How long does it take ?
The procedure takes roughly about 1.5 hr, sometimes more sometimes less. Please allow a solid 2-hour window for your appointment. I likely won’t need that much time, but this isn’t something I want to rush.
Do I need to take a day off work ?
No. There's no downtime associated with the treatment. Redness will disappear in a day or two. Your brows will appear darker initially, but not so dark that you will be prevented from your activities of daily living.
Who are Not Candidate for Microbalding ?
If you are pregnant, on blood thinner, On various medication( you might want to check with your doctor and a written note).
- Visibale broken capillaries Veins.
- Prone to Keloid scarring.
- Any type of transmitted disease.
- Diabetic, Hepatitis a,b,c ,d ,e, F HIV
